The first stage of the filter features a multi-gradient depth polypropylene sediment filter. Designed for purity with bacterial and chemical resistance, it delivers triple the dirt holding capacity of similar-sized cartridges and has a typical life cycle of 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and sediment quantity.

The second stage of the filter features a catalytic carbon filter with KDF85, which provides improved carbon contact time for purer water. This package contains a fully assembled Home Master Filter system, including the filters, a steel mounting bracket with bolts, a housing wrench, and instructions.
